Information on Vaginal Tightening, Regeneration, Vaginal Dryness Removal and Urinary Incontinence Treatments with Female Genitalia CO2 Laser Femilift
Enlarged female genitalia, urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness can cause problems both sexually, quality of life and hygiene.
If it is of a size that requires surgical intervention, the procedure is in the group of minor procedures that can be performed under local anesthesia with general anesthesia or sedation.
Unlike surgical procedures – vaginoplasty operation and anesthesia-related complications, this procedure does not require any anesthesia, so there is no risk of anesthesia-related complications.
The procedure is performed only in the vagina with a vaginal probe. Each session lasts 5-15 minutes.
It is applied once a month and 4-5 sessions in total. Sexual intercourse can be performed 4-5 days after each session. If it is desired to maintain an active sexual life, sessions can be applied every 2 weeks. The aim here is to increase vaginal frequency and/or eliminate urinary incontinence and/or vaginal dryness complaints at the end of 3-5 sessions.
Any significant illnesses in the past and medications you are taking should be reported to the doctor. In addition, aspirin and similar blood thinners should be avoided for 10 days before surgery.
After the procedure, edema, tightness and tenderness rarely occur in the vagina for the first 48 hours. Painkillers and antiseptic solutions may need to be used to prevent this. After the procedure, activities of daily living can be resumed to a great extent.
In cases of severe deformation of the vagina, bladder-bowel hernia, uterine prolapse, combined treatment with surgical operation may be planned in these cases, since improvement cannot be achieved with this treatment alone.
In severe urinary incontinence, surgical operation may be required as the recurrence rate may increase after 4-5 sessions of treatment.
“Sexual intercourse is not recommended for 5 days after the procedure”
The complications that may be encountered with this procedure can be summarized as follows;
EARLY PERIOD
* Bleeding: No.
* Infection: This area is very rich in microorganisms. The procedure itself causes a decrease in vaginal warts, fungal and bacterial infections. Likewise, since it is a region rich in blood circulation, infection is not encountered much. Keeping it clean and using recommended antiseptics when necessary reduces the chance of infection.
* Tenderness – Edema: In the early period, there may rarely be mild tension, tenderness or local edema.
LATE TERM:
* Difficulty in sexual intercourse due to pain: this is extremely rare after the first 5 days. Sometimes it may occur for psychological reasons. But after a few weeks, such a problem is usually not expected.
